To meet stringent energy efficiency standards and support its
sustainability certification goals, SHKP sought reliable HVAC solutions
that would enhance operational efficiency without compromising
environmental responsibility.
Trane’s
Solution
As
part of its overall sustainability strategy, SHKP selected two Trane® RTAG-XSE air-cooled chillers, a CIC
Platinum-rated product, each with a
cooling capacity of approximately 1,200 kW. These chillers offer advanced
features such as a variable volume ratio helical-rotary compressor with a
permanent magnet motor, electronically commutated condensing fans, and
integrated industrial-grade anti-corrosion protection. The RTAG-XSE
chillers deliver strong performance, with a full-load coefficient of
performance (COP) of 3.50 under Building Energy Code (BEC) standard
conditions, and enhanced efficiency during partial load operation.
Additional features include robust construction for reliable,
low-maintenance operation, a three-level acoustic package for reduced
noise levels, and the Trane® Symbio® 800 Programmable Controller for
easy integration with building management systems and streamlined, remote
operation.
